Wow, this is a wonderful story. It surprised me.
I started reading and I had a hard time to put it down. In this story, it takes you back to a time when life and everything about it was different and harder. You where not aloud to be who you wanted and merry who you wanted. It was all planed out for power and gain.
Christien and Madeleine are to of these very people, who love and hurt. However there is nothing they can do change what has happened to them.
I would have to say Her Dark Knight has a dark tell wound into it, of betrays and love and lust. With something macial and midevil about it as well.
Why reading I felt very sad at some points and very happy in others and wanting to dive in and kick some ass my-self.lol The way it ended is a little hard for me to come to terms with so I hope there is going to be more to the story of Christien and Madeleine.

I am going top recommend this story to romance lovers. Very well written and im one who is going to look forward to reading more of Sharon Cullen writing!
